I'm on WP.com as well and I'd love to be able to run a dynamic countdown on my blog. Hopefully TPTB will realize how important a PHP version of the countdown is to some of us when they start working on the 10.04 countdown. Only being able to run a proper countdown every other release really sucks. Someone rolled up a PHP version of the countdown for 9.04 but as of today I haven’t found anyone who has done us the favor for 9.10.
